OUTBACK AIR RACE 2018 - ROYAL FLYING DOCTOR SERVICE FUND RAISING - TEAM CARRY ON
Our team are inspired by the great work performed by the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) all over Australia. Fortunately neither Geoff Glanville, Whitney Rousham nor I have been direct recipients of the fine RFDS service in spite of our ‘Carry On’. Geoff and I have frequently visited the RFDS base at Broken Hill and have been impressed by their friendly but professional approach to the critical services they provide. Frequently we have heard the RFDS aircraft on the radio when we are operating outside of the ‘big smoke’. We always comment about ‘what would happen’ if the aircraft we are operating was afflicted with a ‘show stopping’ event.
I have personally had the opportunity to see the operations of the RFDS at Cairns where they are stretching their services to the Gove Peninsular in the north and as far west as Mt Isa and beyond. These services not just aero-medical evacuation but also include fly-in fly-out GP, nursing and allied health care. These are vital to so many under represented groups in our community.
For us to participate in the Outback Air Race 2018, we are required to raise money in support of the RFDS. Please help us to help the RFDS by sponsoring team 'Carry On'. You can use the [GIVE NOW] button or [SPONSOR] button to keep the RFDS 'carrying on' their great work. Your support to Geoff, Whitney and I to raise awareness of RFDS and raise funds for this iconic charity will be highly appreciated.
The more people that know about the Royal Flying Doctor Service, the greater their ability reach out and make an impact. So please spread the word by sharing this page with your friends, business associates and family. We thank you for your generosity, it means a lot to our team but most importantly the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
